Creating a Color Wheel Combination Between Spectrum and Chromatic Scale
This thesis is the study of a relation between colors and music. The purpose of the study is to create a series of chromatic color wheel consisting of fifteen notes of chromatic scale which can be used to analyze an emotion in abstract art by turning it into three classical songs. This counts as a new method for art analysis and appreciation. With the development of work at different periods of time, three pieces of Wassily Kandinsky’s abstract work will have experimented for the study.  Thus, this thesis is fundamentally the study from researching and collecting data to be experiment with a chromatic color wheel in a sense of education and the purpose of understanding abstract art which is commonly found incomprehensible. The method, comparing the color wheel and the color shown in the artwork, would help abstract art to be more accessible as an art perception will no longer be an obscure subject but turning it into a concrete classical song. Hopefully, this experiment will be valuable for people who are interested in abstract art or artwork with the dramatic use of colors and would like to understand them more. And positively, it would become a new dimension for appreciating art

I’m absolutely passionate about these colors.

The more they overlap.

The more beautiful they are.
